Kiriha is a new cafe conveniently located in the heart of Kyoto’s sightseeing district, Higashiyama, between Sanjuusangendou and Kiyomizu Temple.

The cafe’s theme and decor is modern ‘Machiya’ or Kyoto style townhouse, and is a cozy environment to have a quick coffee, or settle in for lunch or afternoon tea.

We serve the highest quality espresso coffee, brewed on a La Marzocco Linea espresso machine. We use locally fresh roasted coffee by renowned roaster % Arabica.

We also offer matcha lattes and floats using locally grown matcha green tea. As well as imported black teas.

All of our baguette sandwiches, cakes and cookies are hand made on site.

Our staff speak both English and Japanese and enjoy talking to travellers from all over the world. Make sure to drop by during your visit to Kyoto for a taste of home!
